Two years ago Freemake tools first appeared on the software market. It was in July 2010. The first two products that we released were Freemake Video Converter and Freemake Video Downloader. Both of them have been highly appreciated by the leading tech blogs and magazines and have become extremely popular among users. There are several main reasons for that: Freemake software is free, user-friendly and provides a great set of options. For example, Freemake Video Converter apart from the encoding function can also copy and burn movie discs, save online visuals, create simple presentations, and many more.

The last year was significant and successful for our company. We released two new tools (Freemake Music Box and Freemake Audio Converter), published four major and 15 minor software updates. Moreover, we launched our tech blog and opened up new social media channels.

In Freemake blog, you can find several sections with useful information. The Tech section will provide you how-to guides, posts about software, Apple and Android apps for various purposes like best mobile photo editors or best desktop web plugins, and so on.

The Fun section will contain entertaining articles with lol pics, memes, funny YouTube vids, Tumblr and Instagram blogs to follow, tech songs playlists, and things of this kind.

The Interview section will contain audio and text interviews with popular bloggers, vloggers, tech engineers, tech journalists about modern software and hardware, technology development, and future inventions.

And finally the Web section will come with posts about interesting web services and sites where you can edit media data online, keep data safely, save clips and songs, and much more.

Our new tools Freemake Audio Converter and Freemake Music Box will help you listen to any audio files or prepare them for listening on multiple portable devices. As other Freemake software, these two utilities come free of charge.

As for our main programs, they also overcame several changes during last year. Freemake Video Converter got new presets for Apple iPad 2, iPad 3, iPhone 4S. There were also added presets for HTML5 encoding that could be useful for website and blog owners, for PS Vita, Xbox, and other portable gadgets. More will be added soon.

Freemake Video Downloader was translated to more languages like Italian, Chinese, Portuguese, Slovak, etc. The software also got an option to save iFrame embedded media and data from ted.com website. Among two important options that were added, there come download history feature and the possibility to resume interrupted downloads. The latter works only if you do not turn the PC or laptop off.

Our community also grew with us: +10 million new users, +150K Facebook fans, +7K Twitter followers. If you don't follow our official pages, don't hesitate to join us now to get the latest news about Freemake freeware new features and bug fixes.

PC Mag, PC World, Web User, PC Advisor, AppStorm, PC Format, Computer Active, Ghacks, Expert Reviews - this is not the full list of top computer magazines and blogs who wrote about Freemake last year.

Thanks to everyone who's been with us this year! Wait for our birthday present this July. Stay connected!
